Brampton's Business Climate Action Program

Reduce costs, save energy, boost resilience!

Brampton’s Business Climate Action Program will support your business by offering suggestions to help improve energy efficiency, reduce carbon emissions and showcase incentives that may be available to you as you take action.

The Brampton Climate Program will provide opportunities for local organizations to advance their sustainability goals, leading Brampton to a lower carbon future.

Delivered by the City of Brampton in partnership with Toronto and Region Conservation Authority’s Partners in Project Green.

Program Includes:

Free site walk-through assessments

Guidance and support to access funding opportunities

Free capacity building workshop

Who can participate?
The program is available for up to 10 eligible businesses (per year)

* Businesses must submit an expression of interest (linked below) to be considered for participation.

How it works
Partners in Project Green will coordinate a
walk-through assessment at one of your facilities in Brampton

with other technical experts to help you identify opportunities to reduce GHG emissions, save energy and lower costs.

Technical Experts

To participate, you will first need to submit an expression of interest from your organization. The City and PPG will follow up to confirm your interest in the program, setup a intake call and then provide a commitment letter. Once the commitment letter is signed, a pre-assessment survey will be provided. This helps collect preliminary information about your facility to ensure we can conduct a thorough walk-through.

Depending on the size of your facility, walk-throughs can take anywhere between 2-4 hours on site.

After completion, PPG and the technical advisors will compile their findings and present the participating businesses with a brief summary of opportunities and available funding to put projects into action.

Participants will be recognized as a participant of the program and will be given opportunities to promote their experiences and will also receive a certificate of recognition from the Mayor.
