Brampton Chinese Business Association (BCBA) Celebrates Two Years

June 17, 2016

Brampton Economic Development and Tourism (EDT) is proud to be an active partner with the Brampton Chinese Business Association (BCBA). The BCBA is anot-for-profit organization that serves as a voice for Chinese businesses and professionals in Brampton and the broader community. It recently celebrated its second anniversary of working to help businesses in Brampton and region develop solid business foundations and networks for success. BCBA works with the business community, all levels of government, and international business organizations to establish strategic partnerships with the aim of fostering economic and business development.

BCBA organizes a variety of activities and events to benefit their members and aspiring members, including local B2B networking events, professional development opportunities, international business development events, outbound business missions to China and connections to other Chinese business associations.

BCBA recently held their annual general meeting, including the election of a new Board. EDT wishes to thank Past President Winnie Fung for leading the work of the BCBA from its inception in August 2014 to now. The Brampton business community is stronger thanks to her and her team’s efforts over these past two years. EDT also wishes to congratulate and welcome BCBA’s new President (2016-2018) Irene Chu, as well as all the Directors and newly elected members of the Board. We look forward to continuing our very positive partnership.
