Brampton’s A-Frame Pilot Program

The A-Frame Pilot Program was approved by City Council on August 9, 2017 to support the BIA and its merchants to promote their businesses through the use of A-Frame signs and other marketing materials on the street front that are attractive and consistent in size and design.How to apply
Applicant must own or operate a current business on the ground floor of the property address.

Please submit theapplication form, licence fee of $28.25 payable to City of Brampton and photo of proposed A-Frame Sign to the Economic Development Office counter, 1st floor, Brampton City Hall at 2 Wellington Street West, Brampton, Ontario L6Y 4R2. Note that licence fee is affixed regardless of the effective date of the licence agreement.

Upon receiving the application, City Staff will arrange a visit for on-site measurements and ensure the proposed A-Frame Sign is appropriate. If there is no issue with application, a Licence Agreement will be required to be executed and a certificate of required insurance to be delivered. Upon completion of the Licence Agreement, a sticker will be issued. Applicant must affix the sticker to the top-right corner of the A-Frame sign. In addition, the A-Frame Sign should only be placed at the spot marked by City Staff.
