Incubator Space Coming to Brampton this Spring

January 1, 2019

Development continues on the City’s upcoming Pilot Incubator Space, set to open in the spring of 2019 at 41 George Street under the City’s West Tower. The official name of the co-working space, which will also provide programs for business funding and house the Brampton Entrepreneur Centre team, will be announced by the end of the year. Earlier this year, we put a call out to the community for names, and the team is currently working with a number of submissions.

Ryerson University expressed their support of this initiative, and their intention to add their leading expertise in entrepreneur development and innovation to the mix. Ryerson’s DMZ was recently recognized as the world’s number one university-based incubator. Along with other initiatives with Ryerson, the City is working towards turning Downtown Brampton into an innovation hub.
