BRAMPTON, ON (March 7, 2024) – Roshel Inc., one of North America’s largest manufacturers of smart armoured vehicles for commercial and government organizations, is investing more than $65 million in a new global headquarters and production facility in Brampton bringing an additional 500 advanced manufacturing jobs to the city.
The 140,000 square-foot facility will house painting, welding and mechanical work as well as the company’s research and development division. This investment has enabled Roshel to continue its long-standing commitment to quality and innovation in both its processes and products, which makes it a leader in today’s secured transportation vehicles industry for law enforcement and defence.
Roshel’s investment further exemplifies Brampton’s strong commitment to growth, innovation and job creation in the region and solidifies its position as a key contributor to Canada’s economy.
The City of Brampton Economic Development Office played a key role in securing this investment. The Office is committed to supporting investments such as Roshel’s by fostering an environment conducive to economic prosperity by streamlining processes, removing barriers and facilitating a seamless integration of the company’s initiatives into the vibrant business landscape in Brampton.
