The Government of Canada, through the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario, has announced a combined repayable investment of over $15 million to support the growth of eight businesses across the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area.
The announcement was made by the Honourable Evan Solomon, Minister of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Innovation and Minister responsible for FedDev Ontario.
We’re proud to share that A.B.M. Tool & Die Company Ltd., a City of Brampton-based manufacturer, is a recipient of this FedDev Ontario funding and is expecting to receive $1 million in repayable loans to augment its manufacturing capabilities through new equipment and support its expansion into the electric vehicle (EV) market.
“This funding correlates to our increased investments towards advanced manufacturing technologies, keeping A.B.M. Tool and Die at the forefront of innovation for motor vehicle parts manufacturing.” – Derek Andrulat, Business Development, A.B.M. Tool & Die Co. Ltd.
Investments like this play a critical role in strengthening Brampton’s advanced manufacturing ecosystem, supporting local job creation and positioning Brampton businesses to compete in global supply chains, particularly in high-growth sectors such as electric vehicles and clean technology.
Invest Brampton congratulates A.B.M. Tool & Die Company Ltd. on this milestone and thanks FedDev Ontario for its continued commitment to supporting innovation, productivity and business growth in Brampton.
