Calling all innovative Brampton minds! The Department of National Defence launched its first call for proposals under its Innovation for Defence Excellence and Security (IDEaS) program. The first call for proposals, which are due by May 24th, are focused on 16 different areas including enhancing human performance (e.g., human performance in extreme climatic events), anticipating threats (e.g., identification and characterization of space objects) and adapting to a changing environment.
Over the next 20 years, this fund will distribute $1.6 billion. This is a great opportunity for Brampton entrepreneurs, companies and big thinkers to assist with defence innovation.
