Purpose built facility to provide exceptional learning space for apprenticeship and skilled trades program.
On April 6th, 2018, Sheridan College officially opened its new Skilled Trades Centre (STC) in Brampton at its Davis Campus. As part of the celebration, Sheridan honoured the Davis Campus’ namesake, former Ontario Premier the Hon. William G. Davis, with a bust created by Sheridan faculty member, Jessica Cooper.
Sheridan’s STC is a 130,000 sq. ft. facility that was purpose-designed and built to provide an exceptional learning environment for the 1,500 students enrolled in Sheridan’s School of Apprenticeship and Skilled Trades. STC features 52,000 sq. ft. of workshops and lab space, along with 20 classrooms for traditional teaching. The facility offers apprenticeship, pre-apprenticeship and postsecondary programs in the skilled trades, including Electrical, Plumbing, Industrial Mechanic Millwright, Plumbing, Precision Machining and Welding.
