The City of Brampton officially hosted the grand opening of the Gore Meadows outdoor skating rink on February 3rd, 2019. Located at 10150 The Gore Rd., the recently renovated Gore Meadows community centre is a multi use facility that includes a library, gymnasium, fitness centre, youth lounge and aquatic centre.
The event began with a formal ribbon cutting ceremony with the mayor and members of council and was followed by a free public skate and a variety of indoor and outdoor activities for kids.
We would like to thank our sponsors, Tim Hortons, CN Rail and EB Games who enhanced the event with their generous contributions. Tim Hortons provided free coffee and hot chocolate and presented the free skating portion of the event. CN Rail provided patrons with the opportunity to take a photo beside the large MyBrampton sign and EB Games handed out giveaways in the centre’s youth lounge.
