Two-year Milestone for BCBA

​The Brampton Chinese Business Association Brampton (BCBA) just recently celebrated a milestone of two years serving the Brampton business community.

Economic Development and Tourism (EDT) is proud to be an active partner with the BCBA. Thisnot-for-profit organization serves as a voice for Chinese businesses and professionals in Brampton as well as the broader community. It works to help businesses in Brampton and the region develop solid business foundations and networks for success. The BCBA works with the business community, all levels of government and international business organizations to establish strategic partnerships with the aim of fostering economic and business development.

BCBA organizes a variety of activities and events to benefit their members and aspiring members, including local B2B networking events, professional development opportunities, international business development events, outbound business missions to China and connections to other Chinese business associations.

BCBA recently held their annual general meeting, which included the election of a new Board. EDT wishes to thank Past President Winnie Fung for leading the work of the BCBA from its inception in August 2014 to now. The Brampton business community is stronger thanks to her and her team’s efforts over these past two years.

EDT also wishes to congratulate and welcome BCBA’s new President (2016-2018) Irene Chu, as well as all the Directors and newly elected members of the Board. We look forward to continuing our very positive partnership.
