The City of Brampton and its Invest Brampton – Economic Development Office continue to drive initiatives that help local businesses scale, strengthen resilience and access new global markets as part of the City’s Tariff Action Plan.

Earlier this week, the City hosted its latest Go Global Seminar, an event designed to bridge markets and bring together global trade experts, government partners and industry leaders to discuss the rapidly evolving global trade landscape.

Insights from Leading Trade and Industry Experts

The seminar featured a panel of leaders who shared their perspectives on market shifts, export financing and emerging global opportunities:

  • Ken Spears, Vice President & General Manager, Boston Scientific
  • Navi Dhami, Senior Relationship Manager, Export Development Canada (EDC)
  • Shaun Rath, Business Centre Manager, BDC Brampton
  • Giulia Sior, Client Partner & Advisor, BDC Advisory Services

Their insights highlighted the importance of adapting to supply-chain pressures, exploring new export markets and preparing businesses to compete in a global economy shaped by continuous change.
