The City of Brampton’s Invest Brampton – Economic Development Office, in partnership with TRCA’s Partners in Project Green, recently hosted a hands-on workshop to help local manufacturers identify opportunities to improve energy efficiency, reduce operating costs and advance their sustainability goals.

This interactive session brought together businesses from Brampton and the Region of Peel, providing practical tools, funding insights and expert guidance to strengthen operational resilience, lower emissions and build a more competitive, future-ready brand. Participants also heard directly from companies leading positive environmental change through the Brampton Climate Action Program.

Delivering Real, Measurable Impact

The results of the pilot program highlight the tangible value of this work. The initiative identified 54 opportunities to reduce greenhouse-gas emissions, mapped 86 tonnes of CO₂ reductions, and unlocked over a quarter-million dollars in incentives and funding. These are meaningful, real-world savings that help Brampton manufacturers accelerate their sustainability journey.
