Global Business Summit in October

September 12, 2016

Brampton Economic Development and Tourism (EDT) is regularly invited to host inbound delegations from all parts of the world. Where there is a potential business match, we are proud to connect our local firms to visiting companies from around the world, for exploratory discussions on how to conduct business together. These business-to-business (B2B) matches provide an opportunity for local companies to meet potential suppliers, customers or joint venture partners from abroad, as well as share best practices.

Through our relationship with partner Think Compass (www.thinkcompass.ca), Brampton EDT will welcome more than 40 companies from various worldwide locations to Ontario at a two-day event taking place in Niagara Falls October 19 and 20. The Think Canada Global Business Summit is being help in Niagara to ensure visitors experience something truly Canadian, while being able to remain focused on business activity.

Business visitors will match a number of Brampton’s key sectors of strength and opportunity: Advanced Manufacturing, Food and Beverage Processing, Information and Communication Technology, Health and Human Science and more.

A full listing of companies, their products/services, and their international interests will be available in early September. On day one, visitors learn about doing business in Canada. On day two, October 20th, they are looking forward meeting with Brampton companies in person. Brampton firms with a global outlook will likewise appreciate the opportunity to make global connections in person, without having to travel outside of Ontario.

If your company would be interested in meeting with relevant members of this inbound delegation to explore business opportunities, Brampton Economic Development would like to hear from you and share further detail with you.
